Sarah DeBerardinis, LMBT

SarahAfter graduating from the University of North Carolina in 1998, Sarah attended the renowned Body Therapy Institute in Siler City for massage training. In 1999 she finished their Massage Therapy Diploma Program and began her career as a licensed massage and bodywork therapist. In 2010 Sarah completed the Spirit of Learning teacher training program and was hired as an instructor at BTI. Sarah taught many aspects of the entry-level diploma program including Anatomy, Physiology, Kinesiology, and Pathology as well as all hands-on modalities. She has spent the better part of the last two decades dedicating her time and energy to becoming a skilled practitioner and educator. Over the years Sarah has had the opportunity to study with many of the educational giants in the field, including Carey Smith, Claire Marie Miller, Michael Shea, Ben Benjamin and Tom Myers.

Sarah spent many years working in the spa industry as both a therapist and hydrotherapy trainer. Currently, she takes a multidisciplinary approach to private practice incorporating her passion for education into each session. She is a compassionate professional with the capacity to teach students of all levels, from beginners to skilled practitioners looking to enhance their own abilities. Sarah’s deep commitment to her students and knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology informs her elegantly straightforward teaching style, making complex material more accessible and enjoyable.
