I am amazed at the resilience of the human body. I had concerns about the physical demands of walking a week on the Camino de Santiago. I had never done anything quite like this before. The Camino de Santiago, or the “Way of Saint James”, is a network of pathways serving pilgrimage to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain.
